    Candidate Information
  • Susan Fraser
  • Susan Fraser is running for the position of publicity/marketing. She has been a team manager the past 2 seasons (Sq B and PW B) and is quick to assist the association wherever needed (e.g. equipment swap, rink manager during CO Cup and PD, organizing manager’s books). Susan's boys, Cam & Iain, have been Jr. Tigers the past 6 seasons and love the affiliation with the CC Tigers. Susan wants to maintain that successful relationship which allows the Jr. Tigers to "work" the CC home games as a team fundraiser. The position is also responsible for the Tiger Tales newsletter and she has plans to make that publication more readily available to CSAHA members as well as visitors to the rinks. Sharing the outstanding accomplishments of the Jr Tiger players/coaches/parents with a greater audience is the first step toward increasing the number of mite and mini-mite players that will comprise the CSAHA rosters in the future. CSAHA has a fantastic House program that should be the #1 option for all kids in the Pikes Peak region who want their first taste of playing the game. Building the association from the mini-mites up will enable CSAHA to maintain its status as the best youth hockey organization in town at all levels of play.
  • Vincent A. Tucker
  • My name is Vincent A. Tucker. I have been nominated to continue in the Board position for the Board position of Business Manager for the Colorado Springs Amateur Hockey Association (CSAHA). I have been, and continue to be, willing to serve in this position and offer this background for the Board’s consideration.
I have met, and continue to meet, the requirements of the Business Manager position as described in the CSAHA Bylaws and Policies & Guidelines. I attended UCLA in Los Angeles, California. Professionally, I have been in business since the 1985 relocating from Redondo Beach, California to Colorado Springs in 1995 and I have lived in Colorado Springs since then.
Since 1989, my wife and I have operated what has become a world leading research, design, manufacturing and sales private business based in Colorado Springs. I presently serve as President & CEO and my wife serves as Chief Financial Officer. We have more than 20 company employees and manage over 20 manufacturer’s representative groups and international export management companies. During the years, I have traveled across the world for business efforts and have worked with nationally known businesses such as Burger King, Wendy’s, Church’s Chicken, Marriott, Sodexo, Subway, McDonalds, Jack In The Box, Denny’s, Vicorp parent to Village Inn Restaurants, and other household names. From my education and business experiences, I have developed familiarity with the many general responsibilities of running a business including legal, insurance and accounting.
As a youth, and later as an adult, I have been personally involved in team and individual sports. I am married and we have two children including one daughter and one son. My son, Brandon, who is now age 11 years has been involved in youth sports since 2001 including ice and roller hockey and youth soccer. In early 2005, Brandon also began playing youth lacrosse.
I have been involved with youth hockey with my son since he started with Colorado Springs Youth Hockey Association (CSYHA) and now in the CSAHA program following the 2002 merger. I have been an active parent supporting my children and their activities. For my son’s sports, I have traveled around Colorado and the United States to clinics, games, and tournaments.
Having served the most recent 2 years in this position, I have become more familiar with the CSAHA organization and hockey programs in Colorado. I have attended CSAHA Annual meetings, Golf Tournaments, Jr. Tiger Days at the Park, and other activities. I have played recreational hockey since 2003 and have attained my Level II coaching designation. I have also served as both head and assistant coaches for Brandon’s hockey teams. I have served as CSAHA Squirt Division Director working daily in cooperation with other CSAHA Board members, RJ Enga-Hockey/Coaching Director as well as players and parent members of CSAHA.
Having the experiences of raising two children in sports and other programs over many years and dealing with boards and committees and the business background required, I believe that I have the qualifications, time, energy and motivation to continue to fill the position of Business Manager and a passion for kids that will provide the CSAHA with strong leadership.

In related efforts, I have served on many boards and committees in Colorado Springs and through out the United States. I completed the last term as a 7-year member of the City of Colorado Springs Parks & Recreation Board (Park Board) in June 2005 where I started on the original Trails, Open Space and Parks (TOPS) Committee overseeing the process of the City’s 1997 voter-approved TOPS sales tax to buy and build trails, open space and parks.
